Photographer Dylan Ricci Concentrates On Bodies, Not Faces
Ricci likes to say that the male nude is saturated with associations; from the ancient masters such
as Michelangelo, Donatello or Caravaggio through to the more recent renderings by photographers such as Robert Mapplethorpe or Herb Ritts - all of whom have influenced my work. His exploration of male nude photography is driven by the desire to capture the beauty of a simple curve, a sensuous line; to delight in the purity of the human body as an object of art.
Dylan's hope is that people might come to appreciate the male body as something perfect, pure and incredibly beautiful, as a work of art through his photographs.
